Not a long trip this year, just a little over a two hours drive. Heijenrath…. Took a break in Thorn, which is called the white town. An Abbey was founded there in 972… with an enclave for women. It is a very romantic town, ancient cobblestones in the streets. Lunch we had in Valkenburg, a town build around an old castle, which is a ruïn now. The castle, not the town lol…. 

Arrived a little after 2pm at our home for a week. Our appartment is a barn conversion, really wowwwwwwww… did some shopping in Gulpen. And then met Renate and Paul, friends which we had not seen to long. Wonderfull to meet them…
