Years ago I made a short visit to Köln, that was in 1991…. we only visited the Dom and its treasury that time. Now finally time for more. 533 steps on the stairs in one of the towers, but the view was worth it. The Altstadt is picture postcard pretty…. loved it! Nice terrasses, a great view on the Rhein river. Really worth a visit!

Luckily the day was not over yet. On our way back we made a detour and stopped in Stolberg. And that is such a lovely old town, with Burg Stolberg. We did not even know it, really worth even climbing more steps…

We had a lazy evening at home, still felt the effect of about 1400 steps all in one day grinnnnnnnn.
