Almost 800 years ago it’s foundations were laid! One of the oldest castles in the Netherlands and we’d never been there! Well that was corrected today! It really is worth a visit, from the cellar prisoncell to the tower with a few. The royal bedroom and the personeel quarters, a giant kitchen, a ballroom (you can get married there)… It is a fantastic place. Lots of activities for children as well and even grown up’s can have fun there. Last but not least, they also serve a great lunch…. If you are ever in the southern part of Limburg, you should visit.
